The Edwards Aquifer and Research Data Center (EARDC) offers a non-paid Internship and Volunteer Program. The internship and volunteer opportunities are available year-round and provide valuable hands-on experience in fieldwork, along with exposure to a laboratory environment for those pursuing careers in environmental science. Internships must be approved by your academic internship advisor to qualify for course credit. Responsibilities may include maintaining and calibrating laboratory instruments and equipment; collecting local endangered and threatened species, collecting water samples for analysis; sorting and processing field samples; and assisting with ongoing research projects as available.

Additionally, the EARDC Education Program offers seasonal, paid part-time and full-time positions for students and teachers interested in working with our summer Aquatic Science Adventure Camp (ASAC).
